My name is Callum Smith, I am a Degree Student studying Photography, I mainly specialise in Landscape Photography, doing a multitude of topics within that, including Nature, Animals and Wildlife.

This gallery at Lewes Train Station is a great opportunity for me to showcase my work in a public place, and to get my name out there, it's been an amazing few months experimenting with new ideas and concepts while working out the final set of images to be shown, having a few limitations really brings out the creativity within me.

As all of our work follows a common theme, I had to do all my photos in black and white, and as well as in portrait format to follow the frames located at the Train Station. This has since led to my full enjoyment of black and white photography, and is a medium I fully intend to explore more of in future.

I hope people can come to enjoy the tranquil yet mysterious aura of my photographs, experimenting with contrast and darkness has been a fun endeavour that has taught me a lot, and I hope people will enjoy the final set of images.

I can't wait to develop my style even further, focusing more into the deeper details of the natural world and its inhabitants, it'll be interesting to see what I can do in time.
